Responsibilities, Duties and Requirements:
Bathing and drying pets; performing owner elected add on services; cleaning duties throughout the day; laundry; reporting weekly inventory; closing/opening duties; checking in/out clients; scheduling appointments from 123 Pet Software; filing; scanning documents; organization; data entry; Special Projects as needed. Being on time and possibly staying late if we have a really hairy day; Following The UpScale Tail, Ltd. company policies, procedures and job description; Continuing your education; Obtaining a current Pet 1st Aid and CPR certification; Following the American Kennel Club guidelines for safety grooming standards.
Stylist Applicants:

Responsibilities, Duties and Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years professional grooming experience and all stylists must be open to constructive criticism and comfortable with your work assessed daily until you are up to company grooming standards.
- Following The UpScale Tail, Ltd. company policies, procedures and stylist job description.
- Continuing your grooming education yearly
- Obtaining a current Pet 1st Aid and CPR certification.
- Following the American Kennel Club guidelines for safety grooming standards.
- Must have the ability to handle both large and small pets
- Must love pets and be willing to help them overcome their fears
- Must have strong customer service and communication skills with clients and open to educating them to help their pets overcome issues
- Must have strong teamwork ethics and communication with fellow employees
- Must be detail oriented, have understanding of anatomy, breed patterns and different handling techniques
- Must be reliable, on time/early and have reliable transportation
- Must have your own equipment
- Must be able to provide a resume and portfolio of your work
